Minimalist living goals
Today I've finally done the unthinkable: cancelling my bloody phone plan.
For some reason, (we actually all know the reason... something along the lines of the L** Oligopoly) no matter which phone plan or which company you choose, you end up with a ridiculously overpriced phone plan. At some point, I was paying 132 a month for my Starhub plan because of my excessive data usage. :O
Anyhow, since you can't possibly change the law and stop the oligopoly from operating, I have decided to cancel my plan once and for all. :O
Now I am gonna learn to survive on a 15 dollar prepaid card with 1 GB of data. Actually, I don't think it's gonna be that bad because there's Wireless@SG everywhere. HMMMMMMM
---
My second minimalist goal is to clear out junk from my drawers. I'm the type of person to keep letters from people whom I am no longer friends with, but I feel like it is time to let go of all that sentimental burden.
I'll probably still keep the letters from my besties though...
---
My third minimalist (or more like environmentalist) goal is to recycle or upcycle as much stuff as possible. I've so much leftover cloth, boxes, cardboard and even pieces of wood from the DIY projects that I never saw through and now I'm looking for ways to turn those into furniture that I really need.
I've recently learnt to make cushion covers and now I am making passport covers for my friends :O Let's hope that they actually want to use them.
